Authors of clinical and basic research articles are invited to submit a graphic summary (schematic) as part of the article, in addition to the appendix. The graphic summary should clearly summarize the concentration and results of the article and will be published online and in PDF as part of the article. The graphic summary must be submitted as a peer review file by selecting the corresponding file name in the journal`s online filing system. The file must be clearly identified, z.B graphical_abstract.tiff. On this page, you`ll find instructions on the appropriate file format and graphic resolution. Make sure graphic abstracts are available in landscape mode. The text of the manuscript, references and captions of the figuration must be created in a single file; If, at any point in the process, a manuscript containing followed changes is also downloaded, it must be downloaded as an additional file. Where possible, documents should be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, although other standard word processing formats may be permitted. The manuscript should not be submitted in .pdf form.
We will review the first original articles and entries of verification articles in which the manuscript file is not formatted according to the formatting of the ep Europace magazine. Manuscripts can be submitted in any current document format that can be easily opened and read by others. A single PDF or Word file is usually reliable. A statement regarding the consent of informed patients must be included in the manuscript under the title „consent.“ Useful information to prepare your figures for publication. I worked with Sandra Enimil, Director of the Copyright Resource Center, and Maureen Walsh, Director of the Knowledge Bank Program, to develop a standard author`s agreement. After several rounds of review and audits by legal advisors at the university, we finally have a project that satisfies us all. The agreement must be modular, with sections that can be added or deleted to support different licensing agreements (such as Creative Commons) and submission procedures (like the first part, about them, which takes effect upon adoption).
I would also like to stress that it is not intentional to be a single solution, even with modularity, and we really expect that individual magazines – and sometimes even individual articles – will require changes. For example, I just helped a student magazine adapt it to both the acceptance of the author and his advisor, and I collaborated with the editor of another magazine (and Sandra, probably tired of me now) to add a provision for an author who wanted to exclude the images in their submission of the Creative Commons license applied to the text. As I am sure we are not the only ones fighting in this area, I wanted to share the agreement here. Please feel free to accept, adapt or draw from it. During the presentation, the review requires that a consent form be completed for each case report or for each clinical image in which an individual or group of people can be identified. The list below contains identifiers of potential patients that you should consider. The inclusion of a data availability statement is a prerequisite for articles published in the Europace EP.
